The COVID-19 pandemic put movie theaters across the country from small independent screens to nationwide exhibitors at risk of going dark for good.

With the help of the National Association of Theatre Owners (NATO), who represent over 35,000 movie screens in all 50 states, we created a campaign entitled “Cinema Safe” which shed awareness nationwide, on the COVID protocols taking place in theaters to ensure the safety and preservation of the moviegoing experience while informing movie goers of the ongoing battle to keep movie theaters alive until they can fully reopen at capacity. The campaign educated and urged movie goers to alert local lawmakers and officials to work with film distributors and Congress to continue their efforts to protect, innovate, and improve the movie theater experience for audiences everywhere.

We designed custom iconography and full toolkit, available for participating theaters to distribute and display to throughout the lobbies, restrooms, concession counter and individual theaters, showcasing all the enhanced safety and cleaning measures being taken to ensure a clean healthy environment for movie goers and employees.
