Nissan Basic

THE TOWN OF BASIC

There once was a little town called Basic. It’s an unremarkable town. Nice. Small. Basic. In the Town of Basic, people are perfectly happy living life in the most basic ways.

The townspeople dress alike in khaki-colored everything, and spend every moment in a bubble of beige. The suburban town looks straight out of a sitcom. The world will be desaturated, perfectly manicured, and a little bit fake.

This campaign uses a bit of tongue-in-cheek humor to show off the contrast of our two worlds. The folks of Basic, just like their town, are pleasant, a bit odd, and unbearably vanilla.

Enter the Nissan driver. They’re flashy. Bold. Heroic.

Representing speed, a hint of rebellion, and a dash of wit —coming in to make the Basic people wonder what more they could have.
